Holden Commodore VS V6 serpentine belt.

The correct setup of the Holden Commodore VS V6 serpentine belt is as below.

Now some people say that it takes 2 people to change this.
Well they are wrong. Now all you need to do is place the serpentine belt on as pic with the exception of the alternator. Now you will notice it doesnt reach the alternator. Thats fine. Just get your 15mill spanner onto your tensioner and pull down anti clockwise on the bolt and the tensioner will lower. Now once that does you will be able to push your serpentine belt over the alternator and all is done.

Simple really but just thought i would post it as i forgot how to do it and it took me about 20 min to remember. There difficult asswholes to remember actually.

This is for Holden V6 VS commodore only.
(For the yanks out there) This is the Buick engine so you may be familiar with this lolol.

Yea i hear ya Contract. These buick engines have a reverse thread on the tensioner so its easy to crank it up with a 15mill spanner.
They do carry loads of tension on them though. A screwdriver would be hard. But would work none the less. Its just a tensioner after all.
Main reason i posted it is for testing. To see if i can get into the search engines for VS V6 serpentine belt.

    Coolio.
I find myself thinking these Buick and Ford engines just don't have the basics for good mechanics to tune up a treat for beast horsepower like the grand daddy 308.
Ask any ridgy didge ole school sprintcar driver/mechanic.Tits rev off them there bitches.

These engines do power up ok down low. But you try hold a rev with them and you will spin a big end.
I wish i had a 308 i could put in it. Nice injected 08.... Ohhhhh yea.

Nothing beats a fine produce from the Generals outhouse to be sure.
Might go and have a Johnnie Walker toast with your analogy of Homer meself, bahahahaha.

True though;nothing beats the 08 and hearing it ringing its own throat at 8000 rpm and wanting you to stamp your boot down harder.
Damn i miss me LJ with the 3 ohhhhhhhh 8.Power to weight .Mmmmmmmm.

RE: Holden Commodore VS V6 serpentine belt.

Yea the belt can be a fucker if you dont change them often.
I have been stuck here several times. Not because its overly difficult rather that its just annoying. Normally you are putting this on after some major work and its just an annoyance. So yea i made myself a pic so i can always look back and not fuck around anymore.
